at a hotel lobby in Florence, in Via S. Jacopo- in the nearby area, where I first enquired about the possibility of making an exibition , the first time I came to Florence in 1982 , on a scholarship. Eighteen years later, it was here that I discovered where the Swiss Artist Stauffer-Bern used to stay., and who had somehow contributed to the existence of Villa Romana in Florence, headed by Max Klinger. I lived near Villa Romana for some years and spent a month there as artist in residence in March of 2000
