transparent

a quality I seemed to have attached

to the French mind of Marcel Duchamp:

transparent yet not transparent

so when I first created the thesis on Marcel Duchamp

back in 1989

it was printed on a transparent rotolo

embedded in a transparent plexglass box

to pay hommage

to the quality of transparency

of the Large Glass

but with an added dimension

of an unbreakable endurable quality

breaking no longer possible

even with the large glass

Duchamp accepted the incident of the scars

printed on the glass

yet he never desired that to disappear

the Large glass as a physical quality

So years later

I went back to Paris again

with a transparent non broken heart

I seemed first to have encountered

a spirit in the metro

who looked just like Marcel when he was young

In the apparment we rented

I experienced another presence

of transparency

transparent space

transparent mind

transparent reality

transparent ways of communicating

a way

many ways

a solution

many solutions

from all sides

from all dimensions

an idea

beyond

ideas

Limit

without limits

such was my stay of transparent mind

in the short visit I lived

in that appartment

in Paris

I did not exclude that was the answer my Marcel gave me:

forever changing while living admist unlimited possibilities-

exemplified by the quality

of

transparency

this time- unbreakable
